Hey folks, quick word: We’re on for the signing of Dracula: Company of Monsters #1 at my favorite comic shop, the Comic Swap in State College.
It’s on Saturday, August 28, from 1 to 2 PM. The Comic Swap is 110 South Fraser Street in downtown State College, tucked neatly near the Dunkin Donuts.
If you’ve got a comic fan in your family — or if you want to dip your toes into the graphical awesomeness that is modern comics (and not just the one I’m working on) — come on by. I’ll sign comics, and anything else you want me to — I’m that accommodating.

Congrats Daryl! I have an appointment next Sat at 1:30 so I don’t know if I can make it down. I’ll catch you some other time.
Also, regarding your last phrase,
“I’ll sign comics, and anything else you want me to — I’m that accommodating……..”
Can you bring some blank checks?
I promise to astral-project to your signing some version of a selected personality.
Your pic looks great! Does your new status require you to dress all in black now like Neil Gaiman?
I was gonna do a signing at a local shop on that very day at that very hour, too. It was not to be, as car trouble struck. How was it? Good turn out?
I was pretty happy — when I left we’d sold all but one issue, and that’s because a friend of mine didn’t want to take the last one. We may have had the highest average age for a comic book signing ever. See, I’m 45, and I’ve got friends who are older, and we may have frightened the college students picking up their weekly bags.
Next time, though? I need to put up a sign a week in advance, and come with my own signs. There was no advertising except what I’d done online, and most of those college students didn’t know what the heck was going on.
